Weatherford, Oklahoma March 1898 November 1, 1943 ~ March 15, 1989 Stacy Ray Kidd was born November 1, 1943 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Orville and Ruth Johnson Kidd and passed away very unexpectedly Wednesday morning March 15, 1989 in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 45 years, 4 months and 14 days. Stacy grew up in the Colony area and attended school there graduating in 1963. He married Ruth Ann Lawrence in 1965 and from this union two children were born. They made their home in Colony, Oklahoma where he started farming. Following his divorce he married Sue Harper on October 23, 1970 in Verden, Oklahoma and from this union one son was born. They also made their home in Colony where they raised their children. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Colony, Oklahoma and was an honorary member of the Washita Heights FFA. Stacy loved people and was willing to help anyone. He was a loving husband and father. Everybody was his friend. A Brother, A Friend and A Partner. He is survived by his wife Sue Kidd of the home in Colony, Oklahoma; Two Sons: Mike and Todd Kidd of the home; One Daughter: Sherrie Wining of Lawton, Oklahoma; His parents: Orville and Ruth Kidd of Colony, Oklahoma; Two Brothers: Everett and Darrell Kidd of Colony, Oklahoma; One Grandson: Jeremy Wining of Lawton, Oklahoma; Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services were held Saturday March 18, 1989 at 2:00pm at the Church of Christ in Colony, Oklahoma with Rev. Truman Smith and Mr. Len Feuerhelm officiating. Burial was at the Paoge Cemetery Northeast of Colony, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. |
