October 29, 1862 ~ April 3, 1942


Mrs. A.T. Graham Dies at Colony Home

Funeral services for Mrs. A.T. Graham, long a resident of Caddo county, were held at the Fairview church, east of Colony Sunday and burial was made in the Poage cemetery. She passed away early April 5.

Mrs. Graham was an 89er, having made the run into Oklahoma in 1889 and had been a resident of the community east of Colony for 35 years.

For 18 years she had been an invalid from arthritis but went about cheerfully doing most of her housework in a wheel chair until she became blind two years ago. In spite of her intense suffering she always remained interested in her many friends and their welfare.

She suffered a heart attack two weeks ago from which she never recovered.

Emma Urania Berglan was born October 29, 1862 at Wynona, Minn. and died at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 5 days.

She was united in marriage to Arch T. Graham on October 30, 1895 and to the five children were born. They are Mrs. Mae Wilson, Arthur Graham and Mrs. Jennie Lukenga of Colony; Tom Graham, Topeka, Kans., and Frank Graham who was killed in action in France in World War I.

Mrs. Graham united with the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1898 and was a member at the time of her death.

Survivors include the husband and four children of the immediate family, also 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
