Oklahoma City, Oklahoma February 1932 June 24, 1871 ~ February 12, 1932 Charles Andrew Franks was born at Shreveport, Louisiana, June 24, 1871 and died at Oklahoma City February 12, 1932 at 12:30 o'clock a.m. after an illness of two months. He reached the age of sixty year seven months and nineteen days. At the age of twenty-four he was united in marriage to Daisy Fodge at Detroit, Texas. This union was blessed with thirteen children , of which three preceded him in death. He was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints July 12, 1912, to which Church he remained a faithful Christian until the end. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and ten children, eight girls and two boys, three sisters and four brothers also a number of other relatives and a host of friends, who are in deep sympathy with the bereaved relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Lemuel L. Dyke, at Fairview Church, east of Colony, Sunday February 14 at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Internment at Poage cemetery. |
