Carnegie, Oklahoma December 2012 My 23, 1924 ~ December 23, 2012 Claudia Marie Agnew, 88, of Dallas Texas passed away on Friday December 28th, 2012 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She was born May 23rd, 1924 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas to Claude and Verle [Eaton] McLemore. Claudia was a graduate of Colony High School where she was the president of her senior class. Claudia married Garland Agnew on January 11th, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK. To this union nine children were born. Claudia was a homemaker all of her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted her life to her family. Claudia was a member of the Nazarene Church in Pleasant Grove, Texas. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. Survivors include her children: Janice Kinder & husband Dwayne of Carnegie, OK, Jimmy Agnew & wife Lanita of Mabank, TX, Brenda Smith & husband Dana of Scurry, TX, Randy Agnew & wife Mary Lynn of Combine, TX, Kendall Agnew & wife Melinda of Seagoville, TX Stevie Agnew & wife Rhonda of Carnegie, OK, Dana Coy Agnew & wife Cathy of Balch Springs, TX, Jackie Williams & husband Tim of Wills Point, TX, Belinda Walker & husband Mark of Gun Barrel City, TX: 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 1 Brother Ronnie McLemore & wife Timi of Carnegie, OK 1 Sister Allison Tyler & husband Terry of Gotebo, OK She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Garland Agnew, 1 son Jerry Waldon, 2 brothers Earl McLemore & Verlin McLemore, and 1 sister Barbara Harmon. Funeral Services: 2:00p.m. Wednesday, January 02, 2013 Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK Burial will follow at Poague Cemetery, Colony, OK under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie |
