Binger, Oklahoma March 8, 1920 June 17, 1854 ~ March 8, 1920 Mrs. Martha Young, wife of Mr. W. H. Young, born in Tenn. June 28, 1856, deceased March 8, 1920 at Binger, Oklahoma, aged 64 years, 8 months and 15 days. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. The mother of eight children, two sons and six daughters. All living except one daughter. Funeral services were conducted in the home by Pastor of the Congregational Church. Interred in the Binger Cemetery to await the Resurrection of the just. |

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home with graveside services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Binger Cemetery, Binger. She was born in Carterville, Mo and came to Oklahoma City in 1921. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Graveside services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Binger Cemetery at Binger. Born in Missouri, Mrs Moody died Saturday at her home. A member of the Binger chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Pentecostal Holiness Church, she has resided in Oklahoma City since 1921. Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Anderson, of Vista, Calif; a son, Virgil Young, of Oceanside, Calif; two sisters, Mrs Hazel Pecinovsky and Mrs Ruby Byrd, both of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Roy Graves, of Medicine Park; Orville Mabe, of Morris Mo, and Cecil Mabe, of Portland, Ore; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
Binger, Oklahoma May 31, 1969 September 2, 1905 ~ May 31, 1969 Virgil Young, 74 Binger, Okla - Virgil E. "Skeeter" Young, 74, died Thursday, October 12, 2000. Born January 24, 192, he lived in Oceanside for 42 years before moving bsck to Binger, Okla. He was the owner/operator of the Midas Muffler shop in Oceanside for close to 24 years before retiring in 1989. He served in the 11th Airborne Division of CO B 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment during World War II helping to liberate Los Banos Prison Camp in the Philippines. Mr Young was preceded in death by his son, John William Young II of Oceanside. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Eline Young of Oklahoma City; son Bill Anderson of Beaumont, Texas; daughter Donna Marie Young of Oklahoma City; sister Marie Anderson of San Marcos; grandchildren Richard Jones of Oceanside, Vanessa Marie Young of New York and Jessica Young of California’ great grandsons Kaden and Seth Jones of Oceanside; and many other family members and friends. A funeral service was held Saturday, October 14, at the Church of God in Binger. Burial followed with military honors at the Binger Cemetery. |
