Yukon, Oklahoma September 17, 2016 July 28, 1938 ~ September 17, 2016 Anita Marie Wilson, 78 years old, of Yukon, OK passed from this life Saturday, September 17th at Integris Hospital in Yukon. Anita was born July 28, 1938, the 6th of 11 children to Floyd and Ella Davis Gregory in Binger, OK. In 1953. She married Jim Wilson and to this union was born two sons, Jimmie and Curtis. Anita attended, and was an active member, of Forest Hill Christian Church in OKC. She loved her church family. Anita had a beautiful smile, a wonderful voice and loved to sing. She worked for many years as a hair stylist and had a beauty shop in her home. Anita had many talents, but, her greatest joy was caring for her family and loved ones. She adored, and over-fed her little dog, Penny. Anita is preceded in death by four brothers Ralph, Calvin, Carl and Alvin Gregory and Two Sisters Betty Findley and Helen Long. Anita is survived by one son Curtis Wilson along with her two granddaughters Michelle Jellison and Christina Blaylock; Three Great granddaughters Cadance Hallman, Kelsey Waters and Katelyn Waters; Her sisters Linda Griffitts of Gracemont, OK, Rita Donhost of Bargersville, Indiana and Karla Witt of Chickasha, OK; Her brother Garland Gregory of Clinton, OK. A Celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at Forest Hill Christian Church at 2121 N. MacArthur in OKC. Internment will take place at Murray Cemetery in Binger, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon, OK. |
