Oklahoma City, Oklahoma November 1, 2017 February 13, 1942 ~ November 1, 2017 Loye Dale Stevenson was born February 13, 1942 in Lookeba, OK to Perry and Augusta [Hueter] Stevenson. He passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 75. Loye was raised in Lookeba and graduated from Lookeba High School and graduated from U.C.O. in Edmond. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1978. He worked as a computer engineer at Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX. He loved his dog, reading the Bible, and talking politics. He attended Central Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Augusta Stevenson, a sister, Leaella Mae Stevenson, and a brother. Survivors include: one brother, Russell Stevenson of OKC, OK, and a sister, Peggy Blakely of Lookeba, OK; two daughters, Mindy Carlton of Norman, OK, and Christa Stevenson of Yukon, OK; four grandchildren, Serena McCoy of Moore, OK, Raymond Perkins of Moore, OK, Spencer Carlton of Norman, OK, and Stoney Hokett of Yukon, OK; three great grandchildren, Brendon Clark, Marlee Perkins, and Xander Perkins; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Humane Society. Events Viewing will be at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday at the Turner Funeral Home in Binger from 9:00 to service time. Graveside Services: Murray Cemetery, Saturday, 2:00 pm, November 4, 2017, Binger, OK with Rev. Tom Clifton officiating, under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
