© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma August 2006 April 14, 1951 ~ August 24, 2006 Funeral services for Paula Marie Remy, 55, of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2006, in the Binger First Baptist Church, with Dennis King officiating. Paula was born April 14, 1951, in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Paul Albert Beach and Dorothy [McCurry] Beach. She died August 24, 2006, at her home in Chickasha. She grew up in the Binger area where she attended schools and graduated from Binger High School. She married James Parson. This union blessed them with three children: Jimmy, Pat and Jeff. She later married Jack Remy, and they were blessed with a daughter Melissa. They have had 26 wonderful years together. Paula had been employed as a cook at the Silver Crest Nursing Home and The Best Western in Anadarko. She was an avid outdoors person and enjoyed working in her garden and raising chickens, but her true enjoyment came from caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend. Her sense of humor and her good heartedness made her even more special, not only to her family, but to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Beach; son, Jimmy Parson; daughter-in-law, Cody Parson; two grandsons: Zachary and Keaton Parson; and one granddaughter, Kyrstin Parson. Survivors include husband, Jack Remy, of the home; two daughters and son-in-law: Pat Parson and Melissa and Frankie Snider, all of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Vicki Parson, of Amber; mother, Dorothy Beach; five sisters: Diane, Donna, RoxAnn, Betty, and Reba; two brothers: Mike and John; three grandchildren: Haydin Parson, Chelsea Walker, and Dylain Remy. Interment will be in the Binger Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
