Pittman, 67, of Binger, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, at the Baptist Church in Binger. Rev. T.L. Barnes, officiated, assisted by W.L. Mackey of the Binger Church of God. Burial was in the Binger Cemetery. Pittman, a farmer, was born July 29, 1908 at Gracemont and died at his home Friday, September 13. He moved to the Binger area shortly after his marriage to Helen Mottesheard at El Reno on June 22, 1930. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Farm Bureau. Survivors are his wife, of the home; two sons, Donald of Binger and Nick of Bethany; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Hamer of Cyril; his mother, Ida Gunn of Anadarko; five sisters, Mrs. Thresa Vance and Mrs. Rachel Optiz, both of Binger, Christine Meull of Fresno, Calif., Pauline Smith of Alexandria, La., and Donna Belle Allen of Orlando, Fla.; a brother Pete Pittman of Fresno; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
