Lawton, Oklahoma May 2015 October 8, 1960 ~ May 17, 2015 Timothy "Timmy" Keechi was born on October 8, 1960 in Lawton, OK to Robert and Juanita Louise [Sellers] Keechi. He passed away on May 17, 2015 in Lawton Oklahoma at the age of 54. Timmy went to Binger High School where he loved to play baseball and was proud to be called a Binger boy. Timmy was a great man and loved his family with all his heart. He was very proud of all his kids and his grandsons. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. He had a very big heart and was always willing to help anyone. Timmy enjoyed going to the casinos, and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being at the family land northwest of Binger. He loved his sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder, Boston Red Socks, and Sooner fan. He also created the Red Thunder Softball Team. He worked as a concrete layer and carpenter in his early years, and was an alcohol and substance abuse counselor for the Consortium Against Substance Abuse and the Kiowa Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program. Survivors Include: his children, Sonnie Allen and husband Casey of Gracemont, OK, Mason Keechi and wife Brittany of Gracemont, Timothy Keechi, Jr and significant other Maria of Anadarko, Austin Keechi of Anadarko, OK, and Ronay Keechi of Anadarko, OK, his grandchildren, Draclynn Keechi and Greysen Allen, his siblings, Gene Keechi and wife Vera of OKC, OK, Bobby Keechi of Binger, OK, Delores Washburn of Ft Cobb, OK, Bonnie Stephenson of Anadarko, OK, and Sharon Ahpeahtone of Tuttle, OK , as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Keechi, his siblings, Leonard “Bud” Keechi, and Mildred Paisley, and brother in law, Clay Paisley.
