Okemah, Oklahoma March 2016 August 27, 1927 ~ March 8, 2016 Graveside services for Harold Eugene Ingram was held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Murray Cemetery in Binger, Oklahoma. Harold Eugene Ingram was born August 27, 1927 in Gracemont, Oklahoma to George Washington Ingram and Della Mae [Cline] Ingram. He passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 88. Mr. Ingram had been a resident of the Okemah area since 1977. He and Betty J. Turner were married March 27, 1948; she later preceded him in death August 9, 2009. Mr. Ingram served his country with the United States Army during WWII having served overseas in Germany. He also worked many years as a farmer. Also preceding him in death were his parents; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include his son, Jim Roger Ingram of Okemah and two brothers, Floyd Vernon Ingram of Grand Prairie, Texas and George Ingram of Great Falls, Montana. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Barbara Turner. |

Betty Jean Ingram was born March 9, 1930 in Binger, Oklahoma to Chesley and Viola [Wesson] Turner. She passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at her home south of Okemah at the age of 79. Mrs. Ingram had been a resident of the Okemah area since 1977. She and Harold Eugene Ingram were married March 27, 1948. Mrs. Ingram was a devoted homemaker and also worked many years at the Blue Bell Sewing Plant in Okemah. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her husband Harold Ingram of Okemah; one son, Jimmy R. Ingram of Okemah; one brother, L.D. Turner of Chickasha; and two sisters, Bonnie Burnett of Chickasha and Georgie Hoselton of El Reno, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Danny and Barbara Turner. |
