Smith Funeral Home Anadarko, Oklahoma October 2017 November 8, 1955 ~ October 1, 2017 Desiree E. Gonzalez, 61, of Allen, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in Oklahoma City. Desiree was born November 8, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma to Levi Edwards and Virginia Underwood. She was raised in the Oklahoma City area and graduated high school in Dallas, Texas in 1973. Desiree worked as an Insurance Claims Supervisor. She enjoyed playing softball and soccer. She attended the Methodist Church and was a proud member of the Caddo Nation. Left to cherish her memory is her father, Levi Edwards; son, Daniel Gonzalez; grandchildren: Darrel Gonzalez & Denise Gonzalez; sisters: Naomi Edwards, Pat Bastmess & Ginger Willie along with other relatives and friends. Desiree is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Edwards and brother, Felix Spencer. Prayer services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Dennis King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery, Binger, Oklahoma. Funeral services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma. |
