Jones, Oklahoma September 2016 September 8, 1959 ~ September 7, 2016 Shawn Frank Exendine was born September 8, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Oliver Exendine and Marlene Johnson. Shawn passed from this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Jones, Oklahoma, at the age of 56. Shawn was just a big kid at heart. He enjoyed teasing and playing games with his many nieces, nephews and just any kid around. You could say he was "generous to a fault". He would do anything to help a person out. Shawn traveled across many states on foot and by motorcycle. He loved his "Harley" and rode it all over the southwest United States. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for all. His hobbies included drawing, leathercrafts, and painting, from landscapes to animals, and going to the casino's. Shawn loved playing the slots and just killing time there enjoying himself and being with friends. You could say he just lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. Shawn also loved his OU Sooners and watching them on tv and was also a very proud member of the Delaware Nation. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Carla Mann of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sylvia Brown of Montour, Iowa, Sandra Exendine of Chandler, Oklahoma and Tina Exendine of Tulsa, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Shawn is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Marlene; grandparents: Francis Johnson, Virgie Hendricks Johnson, Frank Exendine and Clara Bedoka Standing.
