Genevieve [Arnold] Edmonds
July 24, 1933 ~ November 12, 2018


Genevieve Edmonds was born on July 24, 1933 in Binger, OK to Clayton Freeman Arnold and Clara Longhat Brown. She passed away on November 12, 2018 in OKC,OK at the age of 85.

Genevieve grew up in Binger and attended Binger Schools and at Riverside Indian School.

She was a wife and homemaker.

She also worked for Caddo Housing Authority for the Caddo Tribe, AOA, and babysat.

She loved AOA field trips, making shawls, garage sales, playing Bingo, Caddo Traditional dancing, and doing word searches. Genevieve was a Caddo Tribal member, and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Anadarko, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Freeman Arnold and Clara Arnold, her sister, Loretta Chatkehoodle, the late Lowell [Wimpy] Edmonds, Sr., her brother, Clayton Freeman Beaver, Haskell Brown, her sister, Marjorie Botone, her great grandson, Jalen Tre Wright.

Survivors Include: her children, Lowell D. Edmonds, Jr. of Anadarko, OK, Lois Samaniego of Anadarko, OK, Carol Ann Smith and husband Paul of Binger, OK, Glenda Faye Edmonds and Donny Hensley of Pauls Valley, OK, and Steven Ray Edmonds, of Binger, OK, her grandchildren, Tina Soto and husband Chris, Tiffany Haumpy, J.D. Subia and wife Valerie, Erica Edmonds, La Tonya Bryan and husband Kyle, Michael House, Heather Pyle and husband Kevin, Stephen Pewewardy and wife Valaria, Ashley House, Sydney Samaniego, Christanna Edmonds, Gabriel Edmonds, Ila "Rainy" Rotan, and Sierra Edmonds, her great grandchildren, Alexandria Nesahkluah, Mason, Abby, Logan, and Christian Soto, Sylinah, Langden, Lauris, Trejoun, and Lauklyn Subia, Laythan Samaniego, Aaron Kauldekaule, Avian and Aiden House, Jacob Pyle, Jahleal House, Cameron and Kingston Pewewardy, her great great grandchildren, Sunny Sky and Blue Sky Nesahkluah, and her sister, Charlene Wright and husband Jerry, as well as many other relatives and friends.
