February 25, 1923 ~ July 3, 2005


Funeral services for Odessa J. East of El Reno were held today at Binger Church of Christ with Rev. Mark Legg officiating.

Burial was in the Binger Cemetery under direction of Binger-Hackney Funeral Home.

Mrs. East died Sunday in Oklahoma City. She was born Feb. 25, 1923, and was a longtime former Binger resident.

She was a farm wife and member of the Binger Church of Christ and attended El Reno Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons, Jimmy East of Binger, Lyndel East of Nashville, Tenn., Donnie East of Oklahoma City and Ronnie East of Land of Lakes, Fla.; daughters, Irene Pulis of Lincoln, Calif., Christine Buckley and Bonnie York, both of El Reno; 12 grand-children and 19 great-grandchildren.

January 28, 1953 ~ January 20, 2011


June Lea East, 56, of Binger, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord in Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born June 28, 1953 to Lyle Robert and Netrie Bea [Hood] Gilbert. She attended school at Oney. She met and married the love of her life, Jimmie Everett East.

She enjoyed hunting and fishing, swimming and going camping. June loved being in the out doors.

Her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a carpenter by trade and would attempt any job Jimmie would.

June had made a profession of her faith in Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived: her husband, the love of her life, Jimmie East of the home four sons: Donnie [Gene] East and wife, Tina [Hussie #1] of Amber, OK ,Martin Thomas Raines and wife, Connie of Antlers, OK, Shawn [Lee] East and wife Melia of Oney, OK Michael [Michael son] East and Tanya of Amber, OK, one daughter: Dawn Marie [Sissy Suje] Ripke of OK City, OK, grandchildren: Anthony, Erica Dawn [Hussie #2], Mikayla [Hussie #3], Haylea, David, Karlyn, Lofan, Alex [Little Devil], Bailey [Baily Bug] Donnie [Catfish], Steven [Mouth], Jacob [Tadpole], Myka [Rose Bud], Mackenzie [Rollie Pollie], four brothers: Frank Croskey and Shirley of Oney, OK, Carl Croskey and Donna of Chickasha, OK, Mike Croskey and Dawn Dale Gilbert ane Susan all of Fort Cobb, OK, Bob [Chuck] Croskey and wife, Jim Croskey and wife, Dean Gilbert all of Elk City, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Lyle Robert Gilbert, her mother, Nettie Bea Gilbert, Daniel East [Boy Firend] father-n-law, Linda Sue Geiger, Wayne Croskey, Faye McDaniels Velma Slater, Joe Croskey, Larry, Croskey, July Gilbert, Wright Gilbert.
