© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma September 29, 2014 February 10, 1934 ~ September 28, 2014 Graveside services for Richard Leon Bare, 80, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday October 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Binger Cemetery with Calvin Opitz officiating. Richard Leon Bare was born February 10, 1934 in Caddo County to Gusta O. Bare and Sadie [Stratton] Bare. He died Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Chickasha. Richard grew up in the Gracemont and Binger areas. Richard married Patsy Ruth Marrow on October 15, 1967 in Binger, Oklahoma and to this union his seven children were born. Richard spent most of his life working in construction. He enjoyed fishing and spent some time farming as well. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Anita Bare Kinoute; two brothers, Booty Bare and Murrey Leon Bare; and two sisters, Colleen Bare and Dean Harper. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and David Caldwell of Gracemont; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sharla Bare of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Rodney Morrison of Piedmont; daughter, Regina Stephens of Yukon; son, Darren Bare of Albion, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Melanie Bare of Anadarko; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to the family to help with expenses. Services and interment will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
