July 3, 2014 Ashton Paige Branea Trescott On July 10, 2014, Heaven gained an extra special 23 year old angel, Ashton Paige-Branea Trescott. Ashton was born on July 3, 1991 in Bethesda, Maryland to Leah Branea Baker and Fred Trescott II. She attended and graduated from Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke, Virginia with the class of 2010. While in school, she was a member of the high school swim team, played challenger baseball and was also voted the high school Homecoming Queen in 2009. Ashton then attended Arnold Burton Technical Center and completed 3 years of floral training. She enjoyed working with flowers, making arrangements and just the simple thinks of picking, smelling and to touch them. Ashton loved her cartoons and characters. She was granted a trip through "Make a Wish" to see Zach and Cody". Her mom, Leah, also took her to meet Hannah Montana. Ashton was an adorable, loveable, sweet and precious child who grew into a beautiful young lady. She would steal your heart in a second, always had a smile and would brighten any room when she walked in. She could turn a cold heart into a loving spirit with a flash of her smile. She enjoyed going shopping, loved to eat at Cracker Barrell, spending special time with family and friends and especially her dog, Baby. Ashton was a member of the College Heights Christian Church in Joplin, Missouri and also Through the Roof Special Needs Ministry. Ashton is survived by her Mother, Leah Baker of Carl Junction, Missouri; her father, Fred Trescott II of Anadarko, Oklahoma and siblings; brother: Cameron Brandt Scheib of San Antonio, Texas; grandparents; Bill "Paw Paw" and Sue "Maw Maw" Pond of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Fred and Linda Trescott of Anadarko, Oklahoma and Ronald and Margie Baker of Durham, Oklahoma, great grandmother, Margarite Baker of Durham, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a massive fan club. Ashton is preceded in death by her step father, Mark Chisholm, uncle, Brandon Waller, great grandparents: Henry Baker, Lawrence and Minnie Bonser. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Methodist Church in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Pastors Steve Mallow and Nathan Mills will officiate. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma. |
