© Steverson Funeral Home Anadarko, Oklahoma Saturday, April 19, 2016 Rayburn C. Teeter Rayburn C. Teeter Of Cyril, Oklahoma Was born July 5, 1924 in Lodi, OK to Oliver Birchie and Edith Ethyl [Blackburn] Teeter. He passed away April 19th in Chickasha, OK at the age of 91. Rayburn graduated from Ft. Cobb High School. He entered the Army Air Corp and served during World War II. He married Eva Jean Phariss on July 24, 1945 in Anadarko. She preceded him in death January 29, 1985. He worked as a farmer and rancher all his life, raising cattle and wheat in the Cyril area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon. He later married Lottie Smith in April, 1987. She preceded him in death in 2010. Rayburn served on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors and was an ASC County Committeeman. He also became a member of Calvary Temple in Cyril. He loved gospel music, especially the Statler Brothers and the Gaither's. He is survived by: His daughter and her husband- Raynelle and Harold Rose Apache, OK 2 grandchildren and their spouses- Amy and Quinten Roberts Broken Arrow, OK Scott and Taci Rose Apache, OK 6 great-grandchildren- Hunter McAlister, Katie McAlister, Sydney Potter, Michael Bowen, Connor Rose, Riley Rose 3 brothers and their wives- Doyle and Gay Teeter Lubbock, TX Leon and Charlotte Teeter Gainesville, TX Donnie and Linda Teeter Joshua Tree, CA. He was preceded in death by: His parents His two wives 1 brother- Kenneth. Teeter Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 23rd at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary Temple with Pastor Kip Ackley officiating and assisted by Pastor Travis Wollenberg and Pastor David Gibson. Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery at Anadarko under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home. Serving as Pallbearers are: Michael Bowen Connor Rose Hunter McAlister Riley Rose Katie McAlister Sydney Potter Memorial contributions may be made to the Women's Care Pregnancy Center in Chickasha or Calvary Temple. |
