Delmer Durwood "Jack" Stone

Delmer Durwood "Jack" Stone, 73, was born July 18, 1937, to Delmer and Minnie Stone in Byars, OK. He died on July 16, 2011.

His father married Fay E. Fullerton Sept. 6, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nev., and they raised Jack together.

He graduated from Capitol Hill High School and retired as executive editor from The Anadarko Daily News in 1996 after 38 years there.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his wife: two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Debbie Stone and Greg and Teresa Stone; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Scott Wilson; four grandchildren, Jessie, Jackie, Jordan and Kiersten Stone; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Audrey Stone and Jim and Sharon Stone.

Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 21, 2011, at The First Baptist Church in Anadarko.

Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK.
