© The Chickasha Express-Star October 2006 Margaret Christina [Schwartz] Schubert Funeral service for Margaret Christina Schubert, 98, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Margaret Christina Schubert was born January 1, 1908 in Okeene, Oklahoma the daughter of Christian and Elizabeth [Roder] Schwartz and died October 1, 2006 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She and Jake Schubert were married July 17, 1927 in Okeene, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Schubert and her husband owned and operated Farmers Produce in Anadarko. She owned and operated the Hamburger Inn in Granite, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Senior Citizens, the Sacred Heart Alter Society, and was a member of the SW Community Action. She was also a volunteer with the Granite Public Library. Mrs. Schubert was a devout Catholic all of her life. She was also preceded in death by: parents; three sisters and six brothers. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Pat Schubert of Chickasha, OK; three granddaughters: Jeanne Stallone and husband Robert of Lucerne Valley, CA; Vicki Gassaway and husband Chuck of Chickasha, OK; Kathy Westfall of Chickasha; five great grandchildren: Michael Stallone of Redlands, CA; Jennifer Mayer of Upland, CA; Nicholas Gassaway of Chickasha, OK; Trisha Brown of Chickasha, OK; Michael Westfall of Atlanta, GA; four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Catholic Section of Memdory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma. |
