© The Chickasha Express-Star 27 November 2006 Birdie Mae [Miller] Oliver Funeral services for Birdie Mae Oliver, 84, of Anadarko, OK will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Greater First Baptist Church with Rev. A.G. Burrus, Pastor, officiating. She was born January 22, 1922 to Leonard and Elizabeth Miller. She died November 21, 2006 in Chickasha. She was married to William Virgil Oliver, Sr. for over 60 years. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Greater First Baptist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Mrs. Birdie Mae Oliver leaves to mourn her departure one sister Essie Albert and the following children with spouses: Reverend Autry and Gwendolyn Burrus of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Mrs. Dorothy and Joe Clayton Sr. of Cement, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lizzie Mae and Wendell Ray Lyons of San Diego, California; Andrew Lee Oliver of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Ronald Dean Oliver of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Major U.S. Army (Retired) Cathy and Wesley Whitaker of Harrison, Tennessee; This is in addition to 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home of Lawton, Oklahoma. Friends may call at the Funeral Home (Lawton) from 12 noon to 6:00 pm, Monday, November 27, 2006. |
