September 22, 1914 ~ June 23, 1975


Funeral services for Lloyd Delmar Nixon, 60, of Stratford, Oklahoma were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25 in the Pickard Funeral Chapel at Stratford. Burial followed in Anadarko Cemetery.

He was born September 22, 1914, in Caddo county and died Monday, June 23, in the Pauls Valley General Hospital.

Lloyd lived in Anadarko and Oklahoma City before moving to Stratford in 1971.

He had worked about a year for Adams Massey-Harris Co. here in Carnegie before going to work at an Oklahoma City Road Machinery Company in the 1960's.

He was a retired heavy equipment salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Lola; a daughter, Mrs. Rick Snellings, Edmond; a son, Gary Lloyd, Phoenix, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Campbell and Mrs. Elmer Mannschreck of Anadarko; four brothers, George of Carnegie, David, Albin and Maurice Nixon of Anadarko; and five grandchildren
