© Becker Funeral Home Lawton, Oklahoma Wednesday, 11 April 2012 Alvirta [Fields] Mason Funeral services for Alvirta Martin, Lawton, will be at 10:00 am Saturday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Abe Deutschendorf, Lawton officiating. Mrs. Martin passed away Wednesday morning at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Burial will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born in Cache, Oklahoma to Jimmie Benjamin and Hester Ida [Stidham] Fields. She married Roy Victor Martin on October 24, 1961 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He died October 31, 2005. She worked for Sears for over twenty years, retiring in the Sears Credit Department. She was a member of the Sears Retirees club, was an avid Square Dancer, Ballroom Dancer, she enjoyed her fashion, garage sales, was active with the Mall Walkers, was an exercise enthusiast, and enjoyed traveling, most recently with trips to Branson. Mrs. Martin was a Charter Member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Jim Post of Cassville, MO, two daughters, Shirley Galloway and husband Joe of Lawton, OK, Gwen Conley and husband Ted of Garfield, AR, five granddaughters, Debbie Roberts, Lawton, OK, Geneva Roth and husband Doug of Hesperia, CA, Pam Harrington and husband Kenny of Las Vegas, NV, Teresa Bean Mills, Rogers, AR, Tammie Walker, Pea Ridge, AR, three grandsons, Kevin Galloway of Lawton, OK, Wayne Post of Hesperia, CA, Brad Conley of Cave Springs, AR, great grandchildren, Ryan Jenkins of Lawton, OK, Brent Jenkins of Lawton, OK, Melisa Jenkins of Lawton, OK, Ashley Mills of Rogers, AR, Taylor Mills of Fayetteville, AR, Haley Walker of Bella Vista, AR, Dylan Walker of Pea Ridge, AR, Colby Willett of Pea Ridge, AR, Kelsey Willett of Pea Ridge, AR, Jason Conley of Noel, MO, Paige Conley of Cave Springs, AR, great- great grandchildren, Jordyn Jenkins of Lawton, OK, Avery Jenkins of Lawton, OK, Ava Mills of Rogers, AR, and numerous other great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers & sisters-in-law, Browder and Estelle Fields, Grady and Imogene Fields, and her special friend, Alfred Hennessee.
