David Henry Havens

David Henry Havens was born June 8, 1858, in Mo. where he lived until the land drawing in the strip, when he drew a farm near Saddle Mountain. He moved his family to Lawton where they had charge of the Alamo Hotel until three years ago when he bought the Windsor Hotel, and also purchased the Dreamland theater, the Parker blacksmith shop and the property joining the Windsor hotel.

He died Jan. 21, 1910 with heart trouble leaving a wife and two daughters, Mrs. Snodgrass Blair, Okla. And Mrs. Jake Rotchistein, Okla. City, two sons, George and William , Anadarko.
