Steverson Funeral Home 5 April 2004 Alice Ruth [Jackson] Harris Graveside services for Alice Ruth Harris, 76, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma, with Pastor Kim Hayes officiating. Alice Ruth Harris was born May 13, 1927, in Elyria, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph Jackson and Pearl Whitaker Jackson. She died Sunday, April 4, 2004. Alice grew up in Loraine, Ohio where she attended public schools. She had been employed as a nurse's aide, grocery store clerk, and worked in a nursing home. She had lived in and around the Cement and Chickasha area most of her life. Alice was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Delmar Harris.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Linda Brasee of Anadarko, Tommy and Amanda Harris, Timmy and Bonita Harris, and Johnny and Carla Harris, all from Chickasha; eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. |
