© The Chickasha Express-Star 26 November 2002 Freda LaVerne [Lee] Askins Funeral service for Freda Askins, 69, of Chickasha, Olka., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov, 29, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Freda Askins was born March 17, 1933, and died on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002. Interment will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Okla., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star 28 November 2002 Freda LaVerne [Lee] Askins Funeral service for Freda LaVerne Askins, 69, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Freda LaVerne Askins was born March 17, 1933, in Farwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hilburn and Eva (Carol) Lee, and died November 26, 2002, in Chickasha. Freda was a long time resident of Newcastle and Chickasha. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Freda was preceded in death by: parents, Hilburn and Eva Lee; 1 sister, Barbara Delk; l brother, Linden Lee. Survivors include: husband: Raymond Askins of the home; 4 children: Mitchell Askins and wife, Nancy, of Moore, Oklahoma, Pamela Cook and husband, Jim, of Mustang, Oklahoma, Barry Askins and wife, Rana, of Jones, Oklahoma, Carrell Askins and wife, Marty, of Newcastle, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Jonathan and Dana Askins; Bryan and Jason Cook; Lacey Askins; Eric Warren, Austin Shorter, and Regan Shorter; Jason and Raymond Askins; great grandchild: Brooke Askins; 3 sisters: June Glass and husband, Jimmy, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Jerry Hudson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Joy Conrad of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 4 brothers: Howard Lee and wife, Rose, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Kenny Lee and wife, Marjorie, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Deanny Lee of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Ronnie Lee and wife, Lanetta, of Cement, Oklahoma; a host of other relatives and friends. Interment will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
