Forest Ralph Sargent
December 20, 1940 ~ August 14, 2015


Forrest Ralph Sargent Parton was born to Alison Parton and Mabel Houston on December 20, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma and was raised by his uncle and aunt, Jake and Ina Kionute in Lookeba. He was called home by the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Willow Park Nursing Home in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Forrest was a proud tribal member of the Delaware Nation. He worked as a window builder for many years, and also worked at the Caddo Tribe's AOA program as a van driver and meal deliverer.

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, uncle and aunt and 1 brother, Phillip Sargent.

Left to cherish his memory are his cousins (brothers), Lyman Kionute Sr and Neil Wooster of Lookeba, Oklahoma, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

All night prayer service will start at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Caddo Tribal Complex. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Caddo Tribal Complex, east of Binger, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Wooster Family Cemetery, south of Lookeba.

Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
