Willie May [Kilgore] Bruce
March 1, 1921 ~ September 10, 1974


Lookeba - Funeral services were to be at 2 p.m. today in the Pentecostal Holiness Church here for Mrs. Willie May Bruce, 52, of Lookeba, who died Saturday in Southwestern Memorial Hospital, Weatherford.

Rev. Carl Flowers, pastor, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Lookeba Cemetery under the directon of the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bruce was born March 1, 1921, in Cloudy.

She married Vester Bruce on March 5, 1938, in Pickins Creek and they moved to Lookeba in 1956 from Nashoba.

Survivors include her husband of the home; five sons, Charles of Houston, James of Moore, Vernon of Binger and Ray and Steve, both of Lookeba; three daughters, Mrs. Jackie Hampton of Oildale, Calif., and Janice Bruce and Jadeana Bruce, both of Lookeba; one brother, Kenneth Ownes of Antlers, and five grandchildren.
