Binger, Oklahoma November 2018 April 14, 1954 ~ November 6, 2018 Robert G "Rabbit" Barthel was born April 14, 1954 in Binger, OK to Raymond Leonard and Sue Katherine [Petty] Barthel. He passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in his home in Binger, OK at the age of 64. Robert attended and graduated from Sickles High School in 1973. He soon began working in the Oil and Gas Industry. He began farming alongside his Oil and Gas work. He married Connie Major on December 27, 1996 in Anadarko, OK. He eventually became an Oilfield Consultant and retired in 2015. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his cows. He loved spending time on the farm. He was a member of the Crow's Roost Fire Department and a member of the Gobbler's Club. Robert was saved at a young age at the Lookeba Pentecostal Holiness Church during a youth revival. Survivors Include, his wife Connie Barthel of the home in Binger, OK, 4 children, Alicia Williams and her husband Keith of Purcell, OK, Rayme Barthel and his wife Stephanie of Lookeba, OK, Jenny Jones of Cogar and Krista Anthony of Gracemont, OK, 10 grandchildren, and sister, Karen Klein and her husband Jerald of Weatherford, OK as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Sue Barthel, 2 brothers, Richard and Ronnie Barthel, and both sets of grandparents.
