Hobart, Oklahoma July 2010 October 28, 1925 ~ July 22, 2010 Twila J. Spunaugle, 84, Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away on July 22, 2010. Twila was born on October 28, 1925. She grew up on a farm in the Hinton area. Twila was married to Fred G. Spunaugle on January 15, 1971 in Madill, Oklahoma. They made their home in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She worked for the Kiowa County Department of Human Services in Hobart, Oklahoma and retired in 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred. Burial was in Hinton Cemetery, Hinton, Caddo County, Oklahoma. |
Weatherford, Oklahoma February 2005 January 7, 1929 ~ February 25, 2005 Fred G. Spunaugle, 76, Mountain View, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005, in the Southwest Memorial Hospital, Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was born January 7, 1929, in Oswego, Kansas to George Henry and Mary (Muir) Spunaugle. He moved to Welch, Oklahoma at the age of 6 years and then moved to Mountain View in the late 1950's. He was an operator for the Oklahoma Natural Gas and Pipeline Company of America for 33 years. Fred married Twila Foreman on January 15, 1971 in Madill, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife Twila of the home; daughters, Becky Mandrell, Mountain View, Oklahoma, Cathy Foster, Mountain View, Oklahoma and Anna Jo Booker, Mountain View, Oklahoma; son, Billy Spunaugle, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Leslie, Stacy, Darin, Candace and Kristina and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2005 at the United Methodist Church, Mountain View, Oklahoma, with Dr. Cyndy Schillinger, pastor, officiating. Interment followed at the Hinton Cemetery, Hinton, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Jack Loftiss Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma. |
