Alva Review-Courier Woods County, Oklahoma April 2023 July 15, 1943 ~ April 16, 2023 Bob Furrow was born July 15, 1943 to Albert and Agnes Furrow in Alva, OK. He passed away Sunday April 16, 2023 at the Binger Nursing Home in Binger at the age of 79. Bob graduated from Alva High School. Bob lived in Enid and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for several years. He met Leona Robinson at the Cherokee Restaurant and they were married at the restaurant February 14, 1975. He owned and operated BF Electronics in Hinton for ten years and worked at the Great Plains Correctional Facility in Hinton. Bob enjoyed working with electronics and just loved making things work. He had patented an Automatic Driller that was used in the Oilfield and is still used today. Bob was saved and baptized at the Bible Baptist Church in Enid and attended the First Baptist Church in Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Agnes Furrow, one daughter, and one sister. Bob is survived by his wife Leona Furrow of Hinton; son, Terry Furrow and wife Shriee of Hinton; two grandchildren, Breanna Rodgers and husband Bradley of Weatherford, and Zander Furrow of Hinton; one great grandchild, Ben; two daughters from a previous marriage and their children; two sisters, Pat Chambers of Enid and Wanda Rosenbaum of Wyoming; one nephew, and three nieces.
