© Wadley's Funeral Service Purcell, Oklahoma August 8, 2014 May 19, 1939 August 8, 2014 William Delbert Massey died August 8, 2014 in Wanette, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 2 months 20 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Landmark Church in Purcell. Interment will follow at Gracemont Cemetery in Gracemont, Oklahoma under the care of Wadley's Funeral Service. Delbert was born May 19, 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona to Theodore Thurman and Bertha Violet [Wells] Massey. He was raised in Oklahoma City, graduating from Central High around 1957. Delbert married Catherine Cowan on June 11, 1960 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fixing and building things. Delbert was a 32 degree Mason of Blue Lodge in Wheatland, Oklahoma, and a charter member of the Altus Moose Lodge. He owned his own screen printing business and was of the Baptist faith. Delbert is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Bertha Massey; siblings, Edgar Massey, Mary Burns, Oscar Massey, Chester Massey, John Massey, Odell Massey, and Bobby Massey. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Massey; son, Steven Massey and wife, Penny; grandsons, Jessie Massey, Joshua Massey and Caleb Massey; siblings, Dollie Combs, James Massey and wife, Maureen; nieces and nephews, Cathy Kantowski and husband, Andy, Ronnie Massey and wife, Phyllis, Sandy Jupin and husband, Don, Johnnie Massey, Alan Massey; Wesley Burns and wife, Deanna, Kenneth Burnes and wife Margie, MaryAnn Connely and husband, Wayne, Sherry Clouse and husband, Todd, Terri Kriley and husband, George, and many other relatives and friends.
