El Reno, Oklahoma June 21, 2015 February 1, 1976 ~ June 21, 2015 eed Alexander Morris, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in El Reno, OK. Reed was born to Roger and Christine Morris in Phoenix, AZ on February 1, 1976. He grew up primarily in Texas then spent his early adult life in California and Arizona. He ultimately settled in Oklahoma where he worked as roughneck for many years and on the side, he enjoyed trimming trees. Reed loved to laugh and joke and was known as a friend and son who could be counted on in times of need. Reed is survived by daughters, Maddison and Scarlett, maternal grandmother Carol Van Houten, birth mother, Christine Hoelzen, parents Roger and Barbara Morris, siblings Shelton Morris, Sean Morris, Shalane Choate, Cody Morris, and Kelly Ramirez. He is preceded in death by grandparents and brother “Spud” Stacey. Reed had countless friends across the country including many in El Reno, OK. A special thank you and blessings to his extended family in El Reno who played an important role in Reed’s life. Memorials may be made to www.gofundme.com/reedmorris. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery in Hinton, OK.
