Inez "Elizabeth" [Dotson] Turner
June 10, 1916 ~ March 15, 2003


Funeral services for Inez Elizabeth Turner, 96, of Fort Cobb will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 10:oo am at the Fort Cobb-Hackney Chapel in Fort Cobb with Rev Joe Albrecht, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Fort Cobb officiating

Inez was born June 10, 1916 in Spartan, Tennessee and died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at the Carnegie Nursing Home

She married Clarence Turner on July 20, 1934 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico

She is survived by two daughters, Janna Thompson and husband, Bobby of California, Donn Pruitt and husband, Warren of Fort Cobb; three sisters, Patti Halfcock of Amarillo, Texas, Magaret Birch of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Mary Belle Pillow of Frazier Park, California; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her father, Gaines Monroe Dotson, her mother and her stepmother, Vinnie Dotson; two brothers, Gaines Monroe Dotson Jr, and Jerry Dotson; two sisterss, Josephine Dotson and Edith Dotson

Burial will be in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb-Hackney Funeral Home.

Violet Irene Turner-Ferree
April 12, 1932 ~ May 24, 2002


Violet Irene Turner-Ferree, 70, of Moore, passed away May 24, 2002. She was born April 12, 1932 in Mountain View, Okla., to Clarence Edward Anderson and Pricilla Isabell (Smith) Anderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Turner; three sons, David Turner and wife Darla, Danny Ferree and wife Linda, and Darron Ferree and wife Arlene; three granddaughters, Brandi Whittington, Taylor Turner and Olivia Ferree; five grandsons, Billy Hamilton, Brandon Tucker, Jason Vorrell, Aaron Ferree and Justin Ferree; two great-granddaughters, Brittni Whittington and Brooke Whittington; two great-grandson, Bo Hamilton and Ethan David Tucker; her mother, Pricilla Anderson; three brothers, Charles Anderson, Eddie Anderson and Kenny Anderson; four sisters, Louise Stanford, Bonnie Caples, Kathy McIntosh and Donna Pernell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orgel Turner, and her father, Clarence Edward Anderson.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at Living Word Fellowship, 3000 N. Santa Fe in Moore, with Pastor Mark Aduddell officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Cobb, Okla. Services were held under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
