© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, September 30, 1942 John W. Stone Aged Fort Cobb Resident Dies Suddenly Friday FORT COBB--J.W. Stone, resident of the community two miles north of here since 1926, died suddenly at his home early Friday. He had been in unusual good health altho enfeebled by age. Final rites were held at the Harvey funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Survivors include his wife and seven children, the youngest of whom is 57. All were present for the funeral. Mrs. Glenn Fowler of Carnegie is a granddaughter of Mr. Stone. She and Mr. Fowler were among relatives attending the service.
