Saturday, April 13, 2013 Ralph Don Shepherd Ralph Don Shepherd, 72, former Fort Cobb resident, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Silver Crest Nursing Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was born October 18, 1940 to William Herbert and Eva Lena [Stone] Shepherd in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He grew up in Fort Cobb and graduated from Fort Cobb High School. He was saved and Baptized at the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Northern California Retail Clerks Union. He was employed by Safeway and Parade Food Stores. Ralph loved fishing, hunting and baseball. He coached Little League Baseball for many years in Hayward, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva Shepherd, brothers, Wayne, Joe Ben and Bert, his sisters, Juanita, June, Irene and Jeannie. He is survived by his wife, Jennie, his sons, Scott Shepherd and Steven Shepherd, grandchildren, Alyssa Bryant, Steven, Josh and Jacob, Shane, Jordan, Nickolas and Noah and great-grandson, Noah Bryant. step children, Carmen Kaubin, Mildred Kaubin, Mike Tartsah and Tony Tartsah, brother, Bruce Shepherd and sisters, Estelee Wilson, Faye Jordon, Joyce Kenaga, Kaye Such, Marilyn Griffith, step grandchildren, Kyle Klinekole, Derreck Klinekole, Alex Bandares and Zacariah Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Fort Cobb Funeral Chapel in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Rev. Matt Stewart will officiate. Military Graveside service by the Fort Sill :Honor Team will follow. Services are under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
