Tuesday, December 9, 2014 Joyce Ann "Na-Na" [Plaster] Pound Joyce Ann "Na-Na" Pound, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014 after a sudden illness in Lawton, OK. She was born on May 25, 1945 in Fort Cobb, OK to Timothy Ray and Bessie [Hamilton] Plaster. She grew up and lived all of her life in the Fort Cobb area. She graduated from Fort Cobb High School and later married Charles Pound on November 21, 1962 in Anadarko, OK. He preceded her in death in August of 1995. She was a cook at Plasters Grub Stake for many years before she found her passion for caring for children. That was how she became known to others as Na-Na. She so loved the children she took care of. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb, OK. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: JoAnn Meeks, Fort Cobb, OK, Charlotte and Jack Work, Maple Falls, WA, 5 Grandchildren: Kimberly Oswald, Shane Daniels, Rikki Sams, Austin Meeks and Travis Daniels, 5 Great-Grandchildren: Taylor Daniels, Kaylee Oswald, Kayden Daniels, Gage Sams and Silas Daniels,, Her brother and sister-in-law: Timothy Leroy and Susie Plaster, Fort Cobb, OK Her brother-in-law: Alvin Pound, Colorado, Numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, her husband, her son-in-law, Deanie Meeks and 3 brothers and their wives: Troy and Mildred Plaster, Royce and Arloweine Plaster, Dean and Debbie Plaster. Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, First Baptist Church, Fort Cobb, OK, Officiating: Rev. Matt Stewart, Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Cobb, OK.
