Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 Mable D. [Pierce] Peck Mable D. Peck, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 in Chickasha, OK. She was born on April 26th, 1926 in Scott, OK to Oz Roe and Minnie [Shaw] Pierce. She grew up in Scott, OK and graduated from Hinton High School in 1945. She married Elmer Peck on October 26, 1946 in Lookeba. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2003. She lived in the Sickles area for several years and in Oney from 1948 to 1974 when she moved to Fort Cobb. She was a member of the Foster Home Demonstration Club and the Fort Cobb Flower Club. She attended numerous art classes and enjoyed painting. Some of her paintings are displayed in local businesses. She enjoyed her yard, fishing and spending time with her cats that she considered part of the family. She worked for Goldkist Peanut Company in Anadarko from the late 1950's to the 1970's. She attended the Baptist Church in Oney and Fort Cobb. She is survived by: Her son, Jim Peck, of the home in Fort Cobb, OK, 2 sisters: Thelma Goddard, Hinton, OK, Lois Hill, Manitou, OK, Numerious nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Peck, her son, Billy Wayne Peck, her sister, Zelda Phillips and an infant brother. Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 First Baptist Church, Ft. Cobb, OK. Officiating: Rev. Donald Wright. Interment: Fort Cobb Cemetery, Ft. Cobb, OK.
