Coy Dwayne Lovell
Coy Dwayne Lovell, 87 of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Carnegie Tri County Hospital in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
He as born May 26, 1923 to William and Nancy [Wiliams] Lovell in Clinton, Oklahoma. He attended Ball Knob and Mt VIew Schools.
He considered it a privilege to serve his country in the United States Army. He served overseas in the Phillipians and Japan.
He was united in marriage to Dorothy Bell Hollands on November 17, 1943 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2005. He and Dorothy enjoyed tilling the soil and worked very hard.
His greatest joy was for his family. He was thankful to God for all he had blessed him with. He enjoyed going fishing and was a pretty good catch. He had made a profession of his faith in Christ. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by: two daughters: Freda Pierce and husband, Steve of Page, North Dakota, Linda Tilley and husband, Doyle of Guthrie, Oklahoma, one son: Charles McGowan and wife, Sue of Lawton, Oklahoma , seven grandchildren: Timothy McGowen, Stephen Livingston,Lisa Lawrence, Tonia Lodes, Kevin Ray Hill, Brian Tilley and Trent Tilley, nine great grandchildren: numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by, his parents, William and Nancy Lovell, three brothers, Mack, Fate and Troy Lovell, five sisters, Lillian Teague, Johnnie Swaford, Bonnie Williams, Donnie Vee Lovell and Connie Williams.
