Saturday, January 5, 2013 Darla [Wetselline] Kennedy Darla Wetselline Kennedy, 43, passed away at her home near Carnegie, OK after a brief illness on Saturday, January 5th, 2013. She was born on November 26, 1969 in Lawton, OK. She lived all of her life in the Caddo County area. Darla married Timothy Kennedy on April 7, 1994 in Anadarko, OK. She was able to see many parts of the United States during her extensive domestic travels with her husband, Tim, and his trucking firm. Darla was a charter member and helped to establish the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 1015 in Anadarko, OK. She was a member of the Apache Tribe and the Kiowa-Apache Black Feet Society. Darla was given her Indian name, Da'tank, by her uncle Berry Wetseline, which means "big sister, the one that takes care of everybody". She is survived by: Her Husband, Tim, of the home in Carnegie, OK, Her Mother, Iris Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Her Son: Henry Wayne Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Her Step-Son: Timothy Brandon Kennedy, Chico, CA, 3 Daughters: Nicole Pauline Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Misty Randall Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Stevie Ray Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, 3 Brothers: Scott Walker, Anadarko, OK, Gordon Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Dave Beets, Ada, OK, 4 Sisters: Cheryl Wetselline, Anadarko, OK, Mona Wetsellline, Anadarko, OK, Catherine Walker, OKC, OK, Ana Hulsey, Clinton, OK, 9 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Walker, 1 son, Anthony Garrett Wetselline, her brother; Phillip Allen Wetselline and her maternal grandparents; Henry and Susie Wetselline. Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013, First Apache Baptist Church, Fort Cobb, OK. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013, First Baptist Church, Fort Cobb, OK.
