Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, August 13, 1958 Frank Haas Funeral Services For Fort Cobb Pioneer Held FORT COBB-Frank Haas of Fort Cobb, 71 years old, died at the Anadarko hospital Sunday, August 3. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 6, at the Fort Cobb Funeral Home, with Rev. Ted Ewing, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial was made in the Oak Grove cemetery. Mr. Haas was born May 15, 1887, in Iowa, and was married to Elizabeth Green at Wellston, Okla., November, 1905. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Everett Haas, Fort Cobb, and Lewis Haas, Carnegie; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys McRae, Fort Cobb; 10 grandchildren, three step grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Haskell Meek, Floyd Merrett, Quanah Wilkerson, Albert Kelley, Marvin Hodges and Canalous Jackson. |

Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, June 10, 1987 Everett Haas Services for Everett C. Haas, 80, of Fort Cobb were at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 1987, at the First Baptist Church of Fort Cobb with the Rev. Leon Shade, pastor, officiating. He came to Caddo County as a young boy, living first in the Sickles area and later in the Fort Cobb and Carnegie areas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Farmers Union and the Fort Cobb First Baptist Church. He married the former Faye Davis March 24, 1934 in Anadarko. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Glenn of Fort Cobb; one daughter, Shirley Richardson of Bethany; one sister, Gladys McRae of Carnegie; one brother, Louis of Cordell; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. |
