John Joseph Fielden
Caddo Co. Pioneer Dies Near Ft. Cobb
John Joseph Fielden was born in Cass County, Illinois Aug. 25, 1852 and passed away at his home near Ft. Cobb Oct. 20, at the age of 82 years, one month and 20 days.
He was married to Emma Harrom Jan. 30, 1883 and to this union six children were born, all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Lois Reid of Winchester, Ill., Fred H. and Robert L. of Fort Cobb, Mrs. W.F. Stratton of Carnegie, Mrs. Roy C. Heacock of Uniontown, Ala., and Charley of Salt Lake City. An only brother, David, of Virginia, Ill., was present for the funeral.
He moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1903 and lived one year in Anadarko then moved to his home southeast of Fort Cobb where he has since resided.
He has been an invalid for the past six years.
Funeral services were held in the Christian church at Fort Cobb Sunday by R.E. Harvey and Rev. Hamilton and burial was in the Fort Cobb cemetery.
Active pall bearers were E.H. Weidenmaier, John Werner,m O. A. Lumberg, M.O. Abshere, Sam Gee and G.D. Schoonover. Honorary pall bearers were George Weidenmaire, A.W. Hamm, J.V. Belamy, John D. Williams, Mr. Evans and Wm. Keever. A large group of friends from here attended the services.

Fort Cobb Rites Held Wednesday For Caddo Pioneer
Fort Cobb -- Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Fielden, 96-year-old, former pioneer resident of Fort Cobb who died April 1, in Salt Lake City, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Cobb Christian church. Rev. Ted Loving, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery near Fort Cobb.
Mrs. Fielden, mother of the late Mrs. W.F. Stratton, Carnegie was born in Chandlerville, Ill. on October 14, 1863.
She was married on January 30, 1883, to John J. Fielden at Chandlerville. The couple came to the Fort Cobb community in 1904.
She had lived in Salt Lake City for the past several years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and two daughters.
Surviving her are two sons, Robert L. Fielden, Fort Cobb and Charles D. Fielden, Salt Lake City; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Heacock, Union Town, Ala; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren an two great-great-grandchildren.

Ora [Pegg] Fielden
Mrs. R. L. Fielden Dies
Ora Pegg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Pegg was born at Nevada, Mo., November 21, 1889 and died at Oklahoma City June 16th, 1929.
She was united in marriage to R. L. Fielden March 17th, 1912. To this union three children were born.
She is survived by her husband, one son Robert Jr., her mother, Mrs. Laura Pegg, three sisters, Mrs. Edith Bishop of Apache, Oklahoma, Mrs. Pansy Bishop of Colorado Springs, Colo, Mrs. Ida Schooling of Carnegie, two brothers, F.C. Pegg of Blackwell and E.I. Pegg of Apache.
She was a member of the Christian church for twenty two years.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Coats of Hobart at the Christian church of Fort Cobb Tuesday afternoon.
The Rebekah Lodge of Fort Cobb of which she was a member had charge of services at the cemetery.
