Ethel Margaret [Stevens] Cowling Guy

Guy Services Held at Cobb

Services for Mrs. Ethel Margaret Guy, 82, of Anadarko, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Fort Cobb Funeral Home chapel. She died Sunday, Dec. 7 in the Anadarko Municipal Hospital.

Rev. Hoyt Bernard, pastor of the Eakly Assembly of God Church, officiated. Burial was in Fort Cobb Cemetery.

Mrs. Guy was born Jan. 28, 1893 near Abilene, Tex. She came to Oklahoma with her parents in 1900, settling near Stigler. She came to Caddo county in 1909.

Mrs. Guy was married to Ernest H. Cowling April 27, 1911 at Anadarko. He died in 1939. She then married Herbert Guy in 1941. He died in 1961. One son, Jack, also preceded her in death in 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Glee Bartlett of Anadarko and Elsa M. Rainer of Oklahoma City; one son, Jimmy Joe Cowling of Eakly; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
