Services For Courtney Set
Funeral services for Roy Courtney, 83, long-time resident of the Carnegie-Fort Cobb area who died Tuesday at the Carnegie Municipal Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the local Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Bob Williams, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be at the Fort Cobb cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher Funeral Home.
A native of Tennessee, he came to this area with his parents at an early age from Clyde, Texas.
He was married to Aithel Jackson at Anadarko in 1917.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Delbert Millekan of Cleburne, Texas, Mrs. Jack Tilley and Mrs. Howard Powers of Carnegie; two sons, Calvin of Carnegie and Alonzo of Anadarko; two sisters, Mrs. Della Trammel of Tharr, Texas, and Mrs. Livie Payne of Chickasha; one brother, Walter of Davis, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Dec. 6, 1999 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb, Caddo co., OK for Mark Lee Courtney who died Dec. 3, 1999 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home of Fort Cobb.
Courtney was born Oct. 21, 1976 in Lawton, Comanche co., OK to Glen and Phyllis [Sink] Courtney.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ray Sink and Jess Courtney.
Survivors include his parents, one brother, one sister, one niece, one nephew, and his grandmothers.
