Sallie Pearl [Mullins] Avery
Mrs. Avery Rites Slated on Saturday
Services for Mrs. Sallie Pearl Avery, long-time resident of Anadarko, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Smith Funeral chapel.
Mrs. Avery died Thursday morning in the Comanche County Memorial Hospital at Lawton following a long illness.
Dr. Cecil Lee Berry, pastor, Anadarko First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery at Fort Cobb under direction of Smith Funeral home.
Mrs. Avery was born Aug. 13, 1997, in Texas. Her husband perceded her in death in September 1947.
The family home is located at 212 N.E. Sixth.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Emory Smith, Carnagie, and Mrs. Bernard G. Miller, Lawton; three sons, Clyde, Cleo and Mason, all of the Anadarko home; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Herpst, Tulsa, Mrs. Marie Wright, Oklahoma city, and Mrs. Edward Jones, Ardmore; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Avery Child Dies
Services were in the Fort Cobb Methodist church at 2:30 Wednesday for Connie Lee, 2-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Avery of Oklahoma City. The child died Tuesday in a City hospital after being ill a month.
Mr. and Mrs. Avery lived here the past year, having moved to Oklahoma City about six months ago.
