Funeral Services For A.L.Austin Held At Fort Cobb
Funeral services were held for Aldon Lee Austin at 2:30 Friday in the Fort Cobb Methodist church with Rev. George Stauffer officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery.
Austin died at 5:30 last Wednesday morning at his home in Chickasha following a lengthy illness.
He had been a resident of the Oney community for several years. he farmed and then operated a grocery store at Oney before moving to Chickasha.
He was born September 1, 1903, at Hico, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Eula of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Joan Bryson, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Joyce Way, Del City, and Pamila Austin of the home; one son, Kenneth Austin of California; his father, Frank Austin, Chickasha; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Schenk, Chickasha, Mrs. Roy Brown, Chickasha, and Mrs. Addie Bain, Ponca City.
