Theodore S. Allison

Allison Services Set for Thursday, Assembly of God

Theodore Allison, 81, died at 12:05 a.m. Christmas morning at the family home in Carnegie after a month's illness. He suffered a stroke in 1946 and had been in poor health since.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God church with Rev. J.C. Konkler, pastor, and Rev. Gene Wilkerson of cement in charge. Burial will be in the Fort Cobb cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Pitcher Funeral Home.

Born June 28, 1870, at Lecoma, Mo., Allison was married to Alice Rhea at Lecoma Feb. 8, 1893. They came to Oklahoma and Caddo county in October. 1908. They lived at Anadarko. Fort Cobb, Gracemont and other county points. Since October, 1927, they have made their home in Carnegie.

He was a member of the Assembly of God church

Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Alice Allison of the home; five daughters, Mrs,. Julia Bishop, Mrs. Cordelia A. Scott and Mrs. Lillian Blood, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Mauderdine Smith, Jal, N.M., and Mrs. Audra McClure, Hobart; four sons, J. Fred Allison, Kermit, Texas; Fait Allison, Ardmore; Rhea Allison, Buckeye, Ariz., and Ted Allison, Carnegie; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Huntley, Nucla, Colo.; Mrs. Lula Light, Rolla, Mo., and Mrs. Minerva McCown, St. Louis, and four brothers, Will, Mason City, Ill.; Homer, Kansas City, Kan.; Elmer, Lecoma, Mo., and Clarence, St. Louis. Also surviving are 39 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Alice Rebecca [Rhea] Allison

Long Illness Is Fatal For Pioneer Woman Resident

Funeral services for Mrs. Theodore Allison were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pentecostal Holiness church with Rev. H.E. Andrews, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Fort Cobb cemetery with the Pitcher Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Allison died Sunday morning in the Carnegie hospital after a long illness.

Alice Rebecka Rhea was born November 23, 1876, in Phelps County, Missouri, and was married to Theodore Allison on February 8, 1893. Eleven children were born to them, two preceding her in death.

The Allisons came to Caddo county 51 years ago. They resided at Gracemont and Fort Cobb before moving to Carnegie. Her husband preceded her in death in 1951.

Survivors include: four sons, Fred of Kermit, Tex., Rhea of Buckeye, Ariz., Fait, Ardmore, and Ted, Brownsville, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Julia Bishop, Colorado Springs, Mrs. Lillie Blood, Thedford, Neb., Mrs. Audrey McClure, Cement, and Mrs. Mauberline Smith, Kermit, and Mrs. Cordelia Renoe, Santa Monica, Calif.; 38 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Ray Allison Jr

Allison Baby Dies

Ray, Jr., little son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allison of near Fort Cobb, died late Saturday night from injuries received when he fell from a tree Friday afternoon.

The baby was 2 years and 9 months old.
