Becky Louise [McLean] Tuinstra


Becky Louise Tuinstra of Apache, Oklahoma was born September 25, 1957 in Grangeville, Idaho to Glen and Betty [Whorral] McLean. She passed away April 9th in Apache at the age of 56.

Becky attended college after graduating from high school. She worked several places before she went to work at D.J.'s Bait Shop at Porter Hill and was currently the manager there.

She enjoyed playing games, especially Bunco with her friends and Mahjongg on the computer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: 1 son and his wife-Cody and Tori Tuinstra of Elgin, OK; 1 daughter-Cheri Tuinstra of Springfield, OK; 6 grandchildren-Joseph, Jaylan, Kyler, Kenzie, Alaina and Caydan; 1 brother and his wife-Vernon and Diane McLeanof Springfield, OK; 4 sisters-Margaret and husband, Eric Carlson of Washington state; Audrey McLean of Kooskia, ID; Bernadette and husband, Tim Straw of Kooskia, ID; Nikki and husband, Tim Nielson of Lewiston, ID.

She was preceded in death by: Her father, Glen McLean; Her mother and step-father, Betty and Robert McLean; 1 brother, Ivan McLean.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 13th at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache with Rev. Bud Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
