© Crews Funeral Home Apache, Caddo CO, Oklahoma September 2020 October 22, 1941 ~ September 11, 2020 Edward Dean Lindsey was born to Ray Cecil and Beulah Odell [Cronan[] Lindsey on October 22, 1941, in Cement, Oklahoma. He passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, with his family by his side at his home in Apache. He was 78. A memorial service is planned for Friday, September 18, at 10:00 A.M. at the Apache First Baptist Church with Herman Dutton officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Dean graduated from Apache High School. On September21, 1962, he married Vera Faye Threlkeld in Burkburnett, Texas. He was employed by the military as an Air Cargo Supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and riding ATV’s. He loved playing dominoes at the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed visiting the bait shop. His favorite thing was loving on his grandbabies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera; parents; brothers, R.C. Lindsey, Dale Lindsey, David Lindsey; and sister, Marie Baroni. Dean is survived by his children: Douglas and wife Sharon Lindsey of Demopolis, AL, Deanna “Shelly” and husband James Shafer of Apache; grandchildren: Bryan and wife Jen Chaisson, Jessi and husband Waylon McCray; Kristine and husband Landen Bosman, James and wife Carlie Lindsey, Steven Lindsey, Dillon and wife Hannah Lindsey; Mya Shafer; great grandchildren: Micah McCray, Keegan McCray, Nicolas Lindsey, Rian McCray, Brandon Lindsey, Zachary Lindsey, Jace Stone, Adlynn Stone, Lilly Smith, Paislee McKinney, Logan McKinney, Jaxon Lindsey, Tucker McKinney, Parker Lindsey, Tristan Chaisson, Dean Chaisson; and brothers, Donald and wife LaVenie Lindsey, Doyle Lindsey, Danny and wife Debbie Lindsey.
