© Crews Funeral Home Apache, Caddo CO, Oklahoma March 2009 February 24, 1941 ~ March 10, 2009 APACHE - Funeral for Florence Edith Hood, 68, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Apache, with Les Claborn, pastor, officiating. 
She died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at her home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, under direction of Crews Funeral Home, Apache. She was born February 24, 1941, in Chickasha, to Loyd Haskell and Ible May McBride McClure. She lived in the Apache area her entire life. She married Kenneth Hood in 1960. She was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apache. She was a singer and sang with a gospel group. She recorded several albums and CDs and played the piano at church. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Steve and Jennifer Hood, and Chris Hood, all of Apache; two daughters and a son-in-law: Rhonda Crockarell, Huntingdon, Tenn.; and Cindy and Gary Knight, Apache; five grandchildren: Michael Crockarell, Justin Hood, Tasha Knight, Hayley Hood and Hannah Hood; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Loyd McClure Jr. and David McClure; four sisters: Becky Howard, Linda Kirk, Laura Roberts and Brenda Scott. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Hood; her parents; a brother, Jerry McClure; and a sister, Myrle Williams. |
